It's time for tea, a true Portland Tradition

The holidays are upon us, we’re thrilled to announce the return of Heathman Holiday Tea.

Join us with your loved ones to create memories and new traditions. This festive tradition, a collaboration between The Tavern at Heathman and Smith Tea, celebrating the spirit of the holidays in downtown Portland. Featuring a handpicked selection that celebrates Portland and the rich history of Heathman. Enjoy a delectable menu from The Tavern, featuring a delightful mix of treats, from classic cucumber sandwiches to Russian honey cakes. Little ones can savor PB&J sandwiches, ants on a log, and a delightful array of sweets, including brownies and chocolate chip cookies

Heathman Holiday Tea takes place every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Thanksgiving to New Year’s. You can book a seat in the Library between 11 am and 3 pm.

Adults are $65, while kids aged 3-12 get to join the excitement for just $25. If you’re feeling extra fancy, consider our delightful extras like caviar service, curated cocktail pairings, and more.

Because we believe it’s better to give than to receive, guests are invited to join us in support of our charitable partner, SMART Reading. While visiting the hotel for Holiday Tea, guests can bring new or gently used books to leave under our tree. Support for SMART Reading is support for Oregon’s youngest readers, and a brighter future for everyone is the greatest gift of all.
