Programming consistent across all hotels includes replacing print newspapers with digital PressReader access, placing recycling receptacles in all guest rooms, offering a Green for Green program that rewards guests who opt out of housekeeping, and purchasing bicycles for guests to explore our destinations car-free. At Provenance Hotels, we recognize the importance of corporate giving and have strategically opted to maximize our impact by focusing our in-kind resources on initiatives in our community that align with our passions and values. These fall into four areas of philanthropic endeavor: Arts and Culture; Health and Wellness; Equity and Inclusion; and Community Livability. The safety and security of our employees is and has always been not just a top priority, but one of our closest-held core values. We have written anti-sexual harassment policies and train our team on them continually. We are implementing new standards to improve safety for any employee who enters a guestroom alone by the end of 2019 and we are committed to equipping employees with safety devices by the end of 2020. And it doesn’t stop there. We constantly review and improve our policies, protocols, and training and explore new and emerging technology. That’s our Five Star Promise.
